Along with this the provincial immigration system is also prevailing in Canada and in that Quebec is the most popular province for this said purpose.

In other provincial immigration program candidate must possess the sponsorship and the employment offer letter from the respective province and to meet the respective point criteria and other requirements decided by the provincial authorities. Quebec is basically francophone province of Canada and majority of the population is dominated by the French speaking people, so for Quebec immigration it is must to meet the French language proficiency along with the work experience and education criteria. The point criteria according to the existing immigration norms are 55 for an individual applicant and 63 for the couples.

CSQ is the biggest and safest bet for all those candidates who don’t fall in those 29 categories for federal skilled worker immigration program.

NEW ZEALAND

From 1840 there was considerable European settlement in New Zealand, primarily from England and Wales, Scotland and Ireland; and to a lesser extent the United States, India, and various parts of continental Europe. There are many entry options NZ govt. has opened for candidates who wish to settle there. One of the options to get direct NZ resident visa is Skilled Migrant Category.

Skilled Migrant Category (SMC): To apply under the Skilled Migrant Category, candidate need to be aged 55 or under, meet NZ govt. set standards of health, character, and English language proficiency. The Expression of Interests (EOI) is the first step towards making an application. If you qualify, you can submit an Expression of Interest (EOI). This qualification is calculated from PBS (Point-based system) in which one has to score at least 100 points in order to put EOI. These points are given based on certain pre decided factors of work experience, age, skilled employment, recognized qualification, close family etc. The next step is an Invitation to apply (ITA) letter from New Zealand Immigration to all those candidates who have scored at least 140 points, while lower scoring candidates are selected from ascending order with certain factors in consideration like skilled employment offer from New Zealand. Once candidate receives ITA he has to support all the points claimed in EOI. New Zealand immigration may call you for an interview.

If candidate meets all immigration criteria and NZ immigration believes that candidate will settle successfully in New Zealand, he will be offered resident visa. But if NZ immigration wants to see candidate’s ability to settle in NZ, he will be offered work to residence visa. Work to residence visa can convert into residence visa or can be revoked based on the candidate’s exhibited potentiality to settle in the country primarily by searching a job successfully within given time.
